Water scarcity has hit some parts of Nigeria’s commercial city of Lagos, a citizen reported.
According to the citizen, the Lagos State Water Cooperation had cut supply to some local communities in the state.
Residents of Alapere community in Kosofe Local Goverment Area were
said to be in search for alternative water supply. Long queues were
visible at residential buildings with boreholes.
This is the second time in 3 months that water scarcity is hitting
parts of the state due to poor supply by the Lagos State Water
Cooperation. Similar crisis happened on November, 2015.
