As usually for the Arsense Wenger boys one down is the shot as Arsenal
midfielder Aaron Ramsey has been ruled out of his side’s next two
Premier league matches due to a hamstring injury.
Ramsey got injured in the second half of the Gunners’ 4-3 loss to
Liverpool last Sunday adding to the ever-present injury list at the
North London club.
The Wales international will not be available for
selection in their matches against Leicester city and Watford but could
return to action against Southampton on September 10 which is some days
after Wales’ 2018 World Cup qualifier versus Moldova on September 5.
After the Liverpool match, Arsene Wenger also confessed rushing the
midfielder to action too soon as the Welsh man joins the likes of Jack
Wilshere and Gabriel Paulista on the sidelines while defender Per
Mertesacker and striker Danny Welbeck are not expected to be in action
until next year.
The Arsenal boss is often criticised for the spate of injuries in the
club squad as they have always had a long list of injuries which is
rumoured to be traced to the Frenchman’s training methods.
Wenger will hope to seal a few transfer deals before the end of the
summer window as there are reports of new bids for Juventus midfielder
Lemina and Lyon’s Alex Lacazette.
