Some people will say this is awesome - some will say it's awful. Either way, it's classic Luis Suarez.
Luis Suarez is a man who can veer from brilliant to beastly in a matter of moments.
One minute, we watch in awe as the Barcelona striker does something extraordinary alongside his buddies Neymar and Lionel Messi. The next, he does something that makes the world cringe and recoil in horror.
Sometimes, as was the case in Barca's 4-1 Copa del Rey win against Espanyol, he can do BOTH THINGS AT ONCE.
The Catalan derby was a particularly bad-tempered affair, with eight yellow cards, two reds and all sorts of post-match clashes (one of which has seen Suarez receive a two-game ban ).
However,
one little spat that went largely unnoticed was the exchange of words
between Suarez and Espanyol keeper Pau Lopez you can see below.
Well, we say "exchange". It looks more like a one-way wind-up, from the bitey Uruguayan to his opponent.
In
case you'd forgotten, Barcelona (and Suarez) won FIVE major titles in
2015: the Champions League, La Liga, Copa del Rey, Uefa Super Cup and
Fifa Club World Cup. And it seems that his new trophy cabinet is
Suarez's favourite way of goading goalkeepers.
As you can see in the clip, Suarez appeared to say to Lopez:
"I've got five titles… how about you? How many have you got? How many have you got, you idiot?"
As trash talking goes, it's highly effective. However, it's also a bit nasty.
